{MWW} Candy Buy Back

Many enjoy Halloween because it means you can raid your little darling's candy stash and enjoy the candy and sweets that you love.  After a week or so, you are left with those pieces of candy that just are not your favorite and then a week later you might be left with candy that you probably won't eat and it sits around and takes up space in your home or on your child's dresser.  Ever wonder what you can do with all of that candy?  Whether your child received more than you can ever imagine eating, you purchased too much to pass out to trick-or-treaters, or you are just ready to get rid of all candy in your home, there is a place for you to take it.  My friend, Holly,  posted this on her blog. Halloween Candy Buy Back is a program that local dentists register to participate in and they usually give an incentive to 'buy back' your Halloween candy. They in return send it to "Operation Gratitute" that assembles care packages for our military servicemen and women. The website includes a search engine to find participating dentist offices in your area.  I understand that some have or are near the closing date for accepting candy.  However, if you are willing to pay the shipping costs, you can send your candy to "Operation Gratitute". The address is located on the website.  Please consider checking out the program, what an easy way to help make a BIG difference and get your children involved...and to think it is saving you from gaining weight from too much candy!!
