{write it down Wednesday}

Documenting the journey of life is one of my passions and greatest desires.  While I have changed the media that I have used from scrapbooks, journals, calendars, photos, blog posts and more, the memories documented have become prized possessions.  My past has influenced the present and is paving the way for my future; I want to know the paths traveled, therefore I write and photograph.

Today's blog post is part of write it down Wednesday where I share current loves and experiences in efforts to document our every day living.

And that my friends, was the end of our interview.  Can I just say this boy makes me laugh! I must give you a little momma insight on the interview questions and answers.  One thing is definitely true, C loves the color orange.   Honestly he has consistently loved the color orange for at least two years.  I think his adoration for the color orange began due to his love of sports balls and a basketball being orange.  His love for orange consumes all areas of his life.  When given a choice, he will always choose orange.  An orange plate, orange cup, orange shirt, orange Popsicle, orange chair, orange crayon, orange jelly, orange candy, any and all things orange.
As for his favorite food, while he does eat apples and oranges I would say that is favorite food is Greek yogurt.  I limit him to one 5oz container of yogurt a day because he would honestly eat one at every meal. I must document that from the time C was around six months to maybe two and a half years old, he would eat a banana every.single.day for breakfast.  Today it is hit or miss regarding the consumption of a banana every day.
I was surprised C said his favorite book is the Veggie Tales book.  We just have two books and they are not read that frequently.  My immediate answer would be books about the dog, Biscuit.  I just pulled a few Biscuit books from my teaching materials early in the week and I can't tell you how many times I have read them in the past few days.
If I was the one to answer the questions, I would say that C's favorite movie was Disney Planes and Disney Frozen.  There was a time that Veggie Tales were C's favorite and he would repetitively ask to watch The Little Drummer Boy, St. Nicholas or any other Veggie Tales movie he could get me to agree on viewing.
Honestly I can't tell you the last time that I ate chocolate with C.  That sure made me laugh and that is why I followed up with another question regarding the topic of chocolate.  What a smartie pants!
Our little love is so sweet and just adores his daddy.  I definitely agree when daddy comes home, C is thrilled and runs/jumps and dances and always yells, "Welcome home, daddy!" Any time that dad is around, you will be sure to find his mini-me not far behind!
I am just head over heals in love with our little boy!  We share some very special moments and I love watching him develop in his character.  While he is reserved, he is very detail oriented in his observations of places and people.  He is become more adventurous and definitely knows how to make his momma nervous while he tests the limits of safety.  We have definitely had our challenges but are thankful for another new day to love, guide, encourage, play and direct our boy!

Until next time...
Enjoy the moment. Cherish the memories. Give thanks. {Written by Faye 2014}
